NASDAQ OMX Group, the world's largest exchange company, listed its shares today on NASDAQ Dubai, the international exchange serving its region.

Jeff Singer, Chief Executive of NASDAQ Dubai, said: "We are delighted to welcome NASDAQ OMX to our market, under a streamlined listing process which is also available to other NADSDAQ OMX listed companies.

"NASDAQ Dubai is a gateway for companies around the world to access investment from our region, and for regional investors to reach new investment opportunities."

Twenty-nine companies that are listed on NASDAQ OMX or on NASDAQ Dubai took part in the First NASDAQ OMX Group Middle East Investor Conference held today in Dubai.

The conference took place ahead of a NASDAQ Stock Market Opening Bell Ceremony, to be held at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), where NASDAQ Dubai is based. The ceremony will be broadcast live internationally and around the globe.

NASDAQ Dubai rebranded on November 18th, 2008, from its former name of DIFX. NASDAQ OMX Group owns one third of the shares of NASDAQ Dubai. The other two thirds are owned by Borse Dubai.
