NASDAQ Dubai Academy will provide a training course devoted to key corporate governance principles and best practices, as part of the exchange 's drive to promote corporate excellence in the region.

The six-hour course will be held at NASDAQ Dubai in the Dubai Financial Centre (DIFC), on May 29 and will be delivered by an expert from Thomson Reuters.

Topics will include the roles and responsibilities of Directors and senior managers, the importance of transparency, disclosures by listed companies, and how to build effective corporate governance structures.

Case studies and role play will form a key part of the English-language session, which is suitable for Directors, executives, heads of business units, and compliance internal control specialists.
